The San Luis Obispo Bodhi Path Center is pleased to host a 4-day intensive Buddhist Studies course by Khenpo Tsering Samdup, covering three texts by Maitreya. Bring your pen, notebooks, and copies of the texts!
This program is not geared towards beginners but rather toward students with some background in Buddhist philosophy. If you are not sure if this course is for you, you are welcome to try the first session(s) before committing to the full program.
The weekend will use three of Maitreya’s Five Teachings to provide an explanation “of the way things seem to be as well as the way they are,” an “analysis of how ordinary confused consciousness can be transformed into wisdom,“ and how we should understand Buddha Nature, the “ground of enlightenment… and the nature and qualities of Buddhahood.”

He had a rigorous education in all the major texts of Buddhist philosophy, Tibetan literature, grammar, and history at Rumtek’s monk college at the Shri Nalanda Institute for Higher Buddhist Studies.
