Webcast on the 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva, Jan. 22

Khaydroup Zangmo is teaching a series of live webcasts on The 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva to the New York City Bodhi Path Center. Khaydroup will be teaching another interactive webcast on Jan. 22 and has graciously invited members of the San Luis Obispo Bodhi Path community to participate.

“We are currently studying The 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva (by Gyalse Tokme Zangpo) and so far have covered the seven topics of preparation (verses 1-7), three types of practitioners (verses 8-10) and have begun to look at the application of Relative Bodhicitta using the practice of “Tong Len” or “Sending and Taking” to train a mind of loving kindness and compassion through meditation. Next the text, in verses 11-21, will present opportunities to train the mind through all types of difficult situations encountered in daily life. In this up coming session, we will look at this set of verses and what they mean to our own practice of developing Bodhicitta.”
