We are excited to host Khenpo Tsering Samdrup again this April, for a 4-day intensive Buddhist Studies course covering two texts by Maitreya and one by Mipham Rinpoche. Bring your pen, notebooks, and copies of the texts. This program is not geared towards beginners but rather students with some background in Buddhist philosophy. If you are not sure if this course is for you, you are welcome to join us for the first session(s) before comitting to the full program.
The program will use two of Maitreya’s Five Teachings to provide analyses of 1) “the way things seem to be as well as the way they are”, 2) “how ordinary confused consciousness can be transformed into wisdom“, and 3) how we should understand Buddha Nature, the “ground of enlightenment… and the nature and qualities of Buddhahood.” We will also continue studying Mipham Rinpoche’s Gateway to Knowledge, Vol. 1, which is a condensation of the Buddha’s teachings and “the philosophical backbone of the living tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.”
